Second,
customs clearance
1.The
buyer must be a company in China and it must be an imp. & exp. company
which has a certificate
called “Foreign trade operators Registration Form” . Or
find a agent company which can do the

6.Pick
up the wines from customs and send to buyer’s warehouse.
7.Send
samples to CIQ office, 20 workingdays later after the experiment was done we would
get a
Certificate from CIQ office. Without this certificate wines can not be
sold in Chinese market. If the
wine failed the experiment, they would be sent
back or destroyed.
Remarks:
In term 4. For import wine there are three kind of Tax: Customs duty, Value added tax (VAT), Consumption tax.
How to Calculate?
Customs duty = CIF x 14%
VAT = (CIF + Customs duty) x 13%
Consumption tax = [(CIF + Customs duty)/(1-10%) ] x 10%
In term 6. Samples to CIQ office: every kind of wine, it takes 3 bottles and these 3 bottles total “ml” must be 1.5L
or more than 1.5L.
For example: 3 kind of wines import to China, how many samples for CIQ inspection?
750ml, 3 bottles for inspection;
375ml, 4bottles for inspection; 375 * 4 = 1.5L
200ml, 8bottles for inspection; 200 * 8 = 1.6L
Total: 15bottles to CIQ office.
If only a few bottles for samples, how to make the clearance? How to avoid samples to inspection?
All the documents in need should be sent to China, and refer to the CIQ Office, samples can not be more than 3
bottles for each kind of wine. For example, 10 kind of wines, 3 bottles each kind is ok, and you can send 30 bottles totally. By this way, need not to make the inspection experiment. If one kind of wine in 4 bottles, you will only get 1 bottle finally.
